VOLUNTEERING FOR THE GPCA

The more people who are involved, the more the GPCA can offer to our community.

Volunteering can be anything from:

  • Donating an afternoon of your time for an event.
  • Handing out flyers.
  • Joining or leading a committee on an issue that is important to you.

As little or as much time you can offer, every bit helps build a better community for all of us.  If you are interested in sharing some of your time with the GPCA, please contact Lynn Baltzer Caroll at glcarroll@rogers.com.

Let us know if there is a particular area of volunteering that interests you, or a specific area of expertise you can offer (computer skills, carpentry, etc.).

Some areas you may be interested in volunteering for could include:

  • Activities at Kingsmere Park
    • Organized soccer and hockey games
    • Arts and entertainment in the park
  • Fundraising
  • Website
  • Membership Drive
  • Traffic issues committee (i.e.  problems with the speed some use to navigate the streets of our neighborhood)
  • Publicity
  • Winter and Summer fun days.
  • Garage sale
  • Ice rink
  • Sponsorship
  • The sky is your limit!  All new ideas are welcome.

Thank-you in advance!  All support is welcome and appreciated.
